Two And A Half White Guys :: Leather Jackets And Moustache Wax : CD

Release Date :: April, 2004

Two And A Half White Guys, funny name, serious ska. These new comers hail from Utah (who knew they had ska?). This band really knows how to put on a show, mixing all sorts of styles into one song, reggae, dub, ska, dancehall and then a little funk just for good measure. This is their third cd but their first one on Megalith Records. We have their first self titled album available for digital downloads in all the major download sites.

It's refreshing to see a band live that actually gets the crowd dancing. Maybe this is due to their endless gigging in the local clubs and bars, where your paycheck depends on customer satisfaction! and how much the band can get the crowd to drink... With their party style comes great endurance for a long night of jamming, of which this album comes very close to capturing. In trying to associate them to other bands in the ska scene, the only other band I could compare them too would be The Players Band out of Baltimore. Both embody this sense of free flowing jam band mentality with a firm grasp of Jamaican beats and rhythms. With a huge fan base already established, Megalith Records is excited about this band and what they have in store for the future of ska.
