This is the second issue of Connecticut based ska zine. Done in the old copy machine looking style. 18 pages of black and white zine-ery. I met these kids at a Toasters show in CT in August 2006. They seemed to be working pretty hard to help spread some ska news in their area. I picked a copy up that was lying behind the merch booth and read through it during the show. I was pleasantly surprised to find a 4 page interview with Coolie Ranx! It was a pretty good interview in which Coolie was asked the questions you would have asked him yourself had you a chance to chat (no pun intended) with him. He gave some nice long responses as well. Props to them for getting this interview printed. There was also a cool retrospect on Johnny Too Bad And The Strikeouts, a band I knew musically but didn't really have any knowledge on their history. This is defiantely a good read and has some other decent articles and interviews. I hope to see more come from these kids in the future! Maybe I can get a Megalith review in the next issue ;) wink wink nudge nudge...
